Supporting Young People with their Mental Health Needs
This one day course aims to build greater understanding of young people’s experience of adolescence, considering the potential stresses and effective support during this transition . We shall look at how to support and listen, what might lead to more complex mental health needs, and when to refer a young person for more support.
Participants are invited to reflect on their own experiences of adolescence in order to develop greater empathy with young people.

Suitable for individuals working with young people in a variety of settings (paid or unpaid), including youth and community workers, teachers and support staff, community police officers etc
