Looking after yourself in tough times - support in a recession
We are offering free Stress Management Courses and Mental Health First Aid courses to anyone directly affected by the recession.
- Are you facing possible redundancy or losing your job, or are you finding it hard to find a job?
- Perhaps you are trying to support family or friends in these situations?
These are tough times and can have a negative impact on a person’s emotional and mental wellbeing.
Stress Management courses give you ways to help you cope with stress that you, or someone close to you, may be experiencing as a result of becoming unemployed during the recession.

Mental Health First Aid is a national two-day certificated course that helps to develop responses to anyone in emotional crisis, friends, family, and colleagues or even own self. This would be a positive addition to a CV as well as being practically useful.
