BEAT - Understanding Eating Disorders
BEAT is a National Charity (Registered Charity No. 801343) based in the UK providing information, help and support for people affect by eating disorders and, in particular, anorexia and bulimia nervosa. Their national website contains useful information for people directly affected by eating disorders, their carers, family and friends. There is also a section for young people affected by eating disorders. They offer a Helpline, Self Help Network, HelpFinder, Message Boards, Information for carers, Bereavement Support, Online Support and anything else around eating disorders.

The National Centre For Eating Disorders
The National Centre for Eating Disorders provides counselling solutions for all eating disorders, including binge eating, yo-yo dieting, bulimia, fear of eating and anorexia. We also provide innovative training courses for health professionals working with eating disorders. Our fully trained network of therapists can provide personal telephone, group and email therapy for eating disorders and obesity. Also offering help and support for carers and friends of people with eating distress.
